i see this release as the last of mine to touch on philip jeck style tropes, all sample obfuscation and obscuring of the once recognizable
since i started this EP (august 2011 to now) i've recorded exclusively original, much more drone-style pieces but still informed by musique concrète techniques, so it's not like i've made a 180 shift
